We love heading to Bean Around the World for a hot coffee, and stopping by Joey Shipyards for lunch with a view. On the weekends, bringing the kids to explore the Lower Lonsdale and Shipyards scene is incredibly ideal, with a large outdoor play area for children within the Shipyards and tons of restaurants to choose from if you get hungry, it's the perfect location for a balance between fun & relaxation.

You can head over to Lower Lonsdale’s commercial district, a district that takes up four blocks along Lonsdale Avenue. During the summer, you can enjoy the free Shipyards Night Market, this event features live music, 40+ food trucks, an artisan marketplace and a 19+ craft beer garden.
If you're looking for a nice balance between easy access to amenities and trails that will allow you to explore nature, you can head to the Spirit Trail in Lower Lonsdale. Winding its way along our scenic waterfront, the North Shore Spirit Trail is a fully accessible 35km greenway that will extend from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove. This waterfront-oriented trail provides pedestrians, cyclists, inline skaters and people with wheeled mobility aids safe access across the North Shore.
