Vancouver Mural Festival is making its return and we can’t wait!
VMF is a non-profit dedicated to artistic and cultural development in our city. Formed in 2016 with a vision to transform the way art is experienced in Vancouver, it has evolved from a grassroots street festival into a world-class, multi-media art consultancy and production agency.
VMF produces the annual Vancouver Mural Festival and VMF Winter Arts. Throughout the year, we collaborate with clients and community groups on public and private arts-driven projects through VMF Agency. To date, VMF has created over 300 murals and continues to reimagine public art and events in our city.
As VMF explains, “public art brings our streets to life but it’s also part of a bigger story and cultural evolution. We believe in the power of art to connect communities, celebrate diverse cultures, and address socio-cultural issues facing our city and artistic communities. Supporting underrepresented/marginalized groups is at the core of what we do.”
